The end of September 2020 already marked the end of the first project year for MOSAICS, an important milestone duly followed by the project’s Midterm Review meeting. For this, on December 17th, the MOSAICS consortium joined an online meeting with the REA Project Officer, during which the ESRs introduced their research projects and partners presented the highlights of the network’s main activities. This presented an excellent opportunity to discuss the key objectives of the project and receive important feedback and advice from the Project Officer to ensure that MOSAICS adheres to the highest standards. Despite the current pandemic affecting some of the clinical aspects of the study and the ESRs’ secondments, the consortium is facing the challenges, with positive progress and a productive start for the ESRs so far.
Indeed, on November 20th, the MOSAICS ESRs had the opportunity to present an overview of their projects in a poster at the B-Audio Joint Virtual Congress. If you’ve been keeping up with our news posts, you may remember that the congress had been postponed until further notice, but after all the delay was just of a few days. The poster was well-received and several attendees came to ask questions about various aspects of the project. Overall, for the ESRs it was a good practice preparing exposition material and an engaging first conference experience as part of MOSAICS. Further presentations will follow as soon as the ESRs will have their first experimental results to showcase. Stay tuned!
The ESRs would like to thank the REA Project Officer for her priceless help with the project management, as well as everyone involved in the organization of B-Audio.
